Rotary Club of Manningham's GSE representative Kira Olney

Group Study Exchange (GSE) is an educational program of The Rotary Foundation arm of Rotary International.
It is a unique cultural and vocational exchange opportunity for young business and professional men and women between the ages of 25 and 40 in the initial years of their professional life.
The program provides travel grants for teams of young participants to exchange visits between paired areas in different countries.
For four to six weeks, team members study the host country's institutions and ways of life, observe their own professions as practised abroad, develop personal and professional relationships, and exchange ideas.

Youth Exchange

Every year approximately 7,000 students ages 15 to 18 go abroad under the auspices of the Rotary Youth Exchange program for one academic year.
Rotary Youth Exchange students live with a host family in a country other than their own. They may learn a new language; they will learn a new way of living and a great deal about themselves. Exchange students are part of the ambassador team of Rotary International. The object of the program is to bring the world closer together.
Each year, local Rotary districts and clubs worldwide arrange thousands of international Youth Exchanges for high school-aged students.
